Warwick. Keep the Animal Shelter in mind when it comes to giving

While the Warwick Valley Humane Society is adhering to the COVID-19 pandemic protocols and is closed to visitors, it is providing for the homeless animals of the area every day and still in need of donations.

Monetary donations may be mailed to WV Humane Society, P.O. Box 61, Warwick NY 10990 or through Paypal on the shelter’s website, www.wvhumane.org.

Donations needed are listed on the shelter’s website and include:

Dog food

· Diamond

· Wellness

· Nutro

· Evangers

These may be purchased locally at Hometowne Pet & Supply and Northern Bear Pet Food & Supplies.

Cat food

· Ground canned pate style

Medical supplies

· Cotton balls

· Q-tips

· Exam gloves (size medium)

· Peroxide

· Rubbing alcohol

· Paper tape

· Band-aids

Cleaning supplies

· Bleach

· Paper towels

· Paper plates

· Heavy duty garbage bags

· Dish detergent

· Feline/Equine type pine pellets

The shelter is located at 48 Public Works Drive in Warwick and serves the towns of Warwick and Chester as well as the villages of Warwick, Greenwood Lake and Florida.
