Kally Kaliada, designer and founder of Kaliada Boutique at 25 Main Street in Warwick, had a recent promotional activity and combined with her own contribution raised $300 for the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry.

And on Tuesday, May 12, she presented a check for the proceeds to Food Pantry Director Glenn P. Dickes.

After recovering from breast cancer, Padilla took the leap in 2015 to leave her former career in business management to launch a socially conscious jewelry brand and lifestyle boutique.

“Every piece of jewelry is lovingly created, to make women feel effortlessly beautiful wherever the day takes them,” she said.

The physical store is closed in accordance with Gov. Cuomo’s “Pause New York” initiative, but the online store, www.kaliada.com, remains fully operational for customers who wish to purchase pieces from her collection, as well as other women’s accessories.
