Flor-Wick Friends membership drive
The Flor-Wick Friends are back meeting every first and third Thursday of the month from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Visit the friends at the Florida Senior Center, Cohen Circle in the Village of Florida, to gain perspective on joining this fun-loving and laughter-inspired group.
The group attend splays, take bus trips to gambling resorts and dinner theaters and plan its own special events.

United Methodist Church to host barbecue chicken takeout feast on Sept. 16
The New Milford Edenville United Methodist Church will have a takeout only chicken barbecue on Thursday, Sept. 16, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at 5 Jockey Hollow Road (off Route 94S) in the hamlet of New Milford.

St. Joseph’s Church in the Village of Florida is celebrating its 125th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 17, at 4 p.m. at Villa Venezia in Middletown.
To help defray the cost of the event, the organizers are holding a raffle that will be drawn at the dinner on Oct. 17.
The cost of a raffle ticket is $50.

The Warwick Golden Seniors plan trip to Lancaster, Pa., have planned a trip to Lancaster, Pa., for Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov . 16 and 17.
