Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus keeps WTBQ listeners informed

Each weekday morning at 8:45 a.m. Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus he calls into WTBQ (AM 1110/FM 93.5) to provide listeners with up-to-the-minute information on COVID-19.

Neuhaus also hosts his own WTBQ radio show,” Roundtable with Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus,” every Monday at 9 a.m., where he takes calls and answers questions.

And now his daily report includes the number of cases diagnosed and those who have passed due to the virus along with where to go for testing, the procedures and which Websites to visit to find the correct information.

“The phones at WTBQ have been ringing off the hook after his reports from all the residents and business owners sharing how much better they feel having Steve as the leader of the County,” said WTBQ Station Manager Taylor Sterling. “His calmness, intelligence, positive attitude and truthful reports are giving hope to the residents of Orange County.”

Many of the residents, she added, voiced how they felt after hearing the County Executive on the air.

One listener, for example, said: “Neuhaus spent almost a year serving in Iraq last year and there could be no one better to be at the helm than Steve Neuhaus. He’s a boots on the ground man.”

Sterling also reported that the majority of callers also shared the opinion that after listening to Neuhaus each morning, they feel there is a light at the end of this tunnel and they are all hopeful it is sooner rather than later.
