Warwick Valley High School seniors Michael Moore and Henri Prevost were recently named “Commended Students” in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. They are two of only 34,000 students nationwide to be recognized for their exceptional academic promise. They placed among the top 50,000 scorers from more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2020 competition by taking the 2018 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. While they have currently not yet finalized their top college choice for Fall 2020, Michael is hopeful to become a trauma surgeon, while Henri is considering becoming an attorney or politician. Both students met with Principal Marguerite Fusco to accept their recognition.
