The message of Hudson Grey Salon is that it proudly delivers a "big city" vibe with a small town soul to the Clocktower Building on Main Street in the heart of the Village of Warwick.

On Thursday, Aug. 22, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owners Jamie Kevlin and Tina Caporino, their families, friends and staff to celebrate the salon's official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Kevlin has worked in the beauty industry for 20 years and in the hair industry for six. In the past she has also worked as a fashion stylist and has taken a special interest in learning and practicing the latest hair coloring techniques.

Caporino has been in the salon and spa industry for more than 15 years. She specializes in salon and spa operations and customer service as well as marketing and promoting.

Caporino is also a makeup artist and has provided airbrush makeup services for hundreds of formal events and weddings for more than 17 years.

Kevlin explained that Hudson Grey Salon provides each guest with the most luxurious salon experience.

"Upon visiting Hudson Grey Salon," she said, "every guest is given a thorough consultation by one of their experienced stylists. With continued education at the forefront of their mission, Hudson Grey Salon's artists are constantly attending classes and labs that allow them to showcase cutting-edge techniques in all forms of hair coloring, cutting, formal and bridal styling as well as hair extensions to The Hudson Valley."
