Honey Buz boasts an all-natural product line of beauty and wellness, blended with hemp, honey and botanicals.

On Tuesday, April 27, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owners Cindy Allyn and Tanja Lewit along with their business neighbors and associates to celebrate the firm’s grand opening in its new location at 255 State School Road.

These lab and office headquarters are now in the original farm house, known as the Manor House, a roughly 10,000 square foot building on the site of the former Mid Orange Correctional Facility.

The recently renovated building had been leased to the Orange County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) to operate as an accelerator designed to launch new businesses.

Honey Buz is a small, woman-owned business.

‘The healthiest ingredients’ with ‘zero-waste packaging’

Allyn is a beauty specialist and chemist who developed her product line along with Lewit, a beekeeper and tech entrepreneur. They begin their process by sourcing and supporting local farmers and beekeepers.

The firm crafts solid shampoo and conditioner bars for hair care along with body lotions for sensitive and irritated skin, as well as a face care line that the owners describe as pure and results driven.

The biodegradable honeycomb box also saves two bottles in plastic waste. And the company even considered our furry friends by creating a PH balanced natural dog shampoo.

“Chemical free, additive free and tested for purity,” said Allyn, “this product line has the healthiest ingredients in the marketplace. We wanted to develop true care in hair and skin care that uses less water and no preservatives. The zero-waste packaging has been a sustainable initiative since the company began.”
