Anyone looking to get out of his or her home office will appreciate the advantages of reasonably priced shared professional office space and Dreamworx, described as Warwick Valley’s premier co-working facility, has reopened under new management.

On Friday, Oct. 11, members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined the new owners, John Donahue and Megan Cook, their staff, clients and friends to celebrate the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Dreamworx is a 1,400 square foot shared work space located at 7 West St., second floor, in the Village of Warwick with memberships starting at $75 per month.

In addition to the hot seats, desk, printer, business class Wifi, conference room and general office supplies, members also benefit from the bonus of networking, knowledge sharing, referral opportunities and an elevated daily energy that comes with a shared work environment.

The new owners are recent transplants to the Warwick Valley.

Donahue operates the marketing consultancy WLxJS and was exploring local co-working as an option for his business. Upon realizing the Dreamworx facility was closing the decision was made to invest in the local business community by re-opening the firm.

“The lower Hudson Valley has long has its share of vibrant independent businesses,” he said. “Strengthening the investment into the lower Hudson Valley business community was the charter of Dreamworx and as new members of the community we are excited to continue the investment.”

Cook will lead day-to-day operations as the community manager in the Warwick location.

“We look forward,” she said, “to hosting networking events, as well as other ways to connect independent businesses from around Warwick and the lower Hudson Valley.”

Dreamworx will provide complimentary day passes for daily drop ins every Monday and Wednesday throughout October to allow independent business owners and leaders to experience the space.

Space is limited and can be reserved online at dreamworxcoworking.com.
