Raymond V. Heter of Florida, N.Y., entered into rest on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021. He was 97 years old.
The son of Martin Heter Sr. and Marin Kozywz Heter he was born on Feb. 2, 1924, in Florida, N.Y.
Ray was the owner of Ray Heter Trucking in Florida, N.Y.
He is survived by his son Raymond W. Heter and wife Linda of Spring Hill, Fla., as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Ruth Russett Heter and daughter Catherine Heter Cushing
Visitation was held Aug. 18 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida.
A funeral mass was held Aug. 19 at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida
Burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Florida.
