Helen Louise Coates of Warwick entered into rest on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Schervier Pavilion in Warwick. She was 90 years old.
Helen was married to Jesse Mars Coates, who passed away in August 2011.
The daughter of Karl Schneider and Louise M. Renner, she was born on Dec. 23, 1930, in Montgomery.
Survivors include daughters: Nancy Porambo (Robert) of Bethlehem, Pa., and Kathleen Henry of Peralta, New Mexico’ sons: Carl Thomas Coates of Roscoe and James Coates (Catherine) of Warwick; grandchildren: Robert Porambo, Jessica Hurd (Paul), Michael Henry (Carrie), Jacqueline Reed, Paul Henry, Tracy Montz (Matthew), Kristy and Kelly Coates, Laura and Jarvis Coates; 12 great grandchildren; brother Rudy Schneider; sister Louise Perna (Carmen); sisters-in-law Colleen Schneider, Alice Coates and Nellie Freeborn; and brother-in-law Elmer Coates.
She was predeceased by son-in-law Frank Henry; brothers-in-law Herbert Quackenbush, Thomas Coates and Tom Freeborn; sisters-in-law Gladys Quackenbush, Madelaine and Laura Coates; Cleta and Mary Schneider; along with brothers Walter and Kurt Schneider.
A graveside service was held June 2 at the Warwick Cemetery.
