Highlands Market to open its doors Oct. 16

After being delayed by COVID-19 shutdowns, Highlands Market by Shopwell is finally opening its doors Friday, Oct. 16.

The much-anticipated supermarket, located at the old A&P store front in Hewitt, N.J., has been specially designed to make shopping a breeze. Inside, shoppers will find everything they need, from fresh meat and produce, to canned goods, a deli counter and everything in-between.

In addition to groceries, Highlands Market also offers a cafe for those looking to grab a meal or coffee on-the-go and a Carvel ice cream shop. The Carvel is slated to open in November.

Inside, shoppers will find Highlands Market’s dedication to community. An overhead mural cheers on the West Milford Highlanders. Some items on the shelves, such as the gift cards, are made by local New Jersey companies.

To celebrate the grand opening, Highlands Market is giving away a $100 gift card every week up until Nov. 1 via an online sweepstakes. Everyone who enters will get a $10 reward to be used toward Best Yet (the store’s brand) products with a $30 purchase.
