Lackawaxen. After opening last weekend, Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain in Lackawaxen opens again for skiing and riding on Saturday, Dec. 21. Snowmaking continues. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Dec. 21 to 24. Big Bear will be closed Christmas Day. The ski office will be open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tubing opens Dec. 26.
