Florida Public Library will host fourth annual Holiday Readaloud on Dec. 8

    The Florida Public Library will host its annual holiday readaloud on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m.

    A selection of seasonal favorites will be read aloud by library director Madelyn Folino, Trustee Diane Arcieri, Golden Hill Principal Debbi Lisack, Black Dirt Storytelling Guild member Ken Karnas and local poet Howard Horowitz.

    Attentive listeners of all ages, kindergarten and up, are invited to attend the reading which will include favorite stories and poems including The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry, Snowball by Shel Silverstein, The Parakeet Named Dreidel by Isaac Bashevis Singer and other classics, including A Visit from St. Nicholas by Clement Clark Moore.

    Seasonal refreshments will be served.
