Christina Gust, president of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Warwick, accepts a donation check for its food pantry from Doug Stage (left) and Greg Galluccio of the Warwick Democratic Town Committee. The food that St. Peter Food Pantry receives, purchases and “rescues” helps feed from 10 to 25 families a month. The pantry collaborates with other local pantries to make sure nothing goes to waste. Pantries are always looking for donations and volunteers. Contact St. Pete’s at 845-258-4541 for more information. Warwick Democrats support Warwick town pantries with a collection taken at their monthly meetings.
