WARWICK — The Applefest 2014 Committee has announced the winners of this year's 26th anniversary T-shirt Design Competition.

In the adult category, first prize was awarded to Jessica Annunziato, whose design will be printed on the Applefest 2014 T-shirts and sold at Applefest on Sunday, Oct. 5. She will also receive a $50 Warwick Merchant Guild gift certificate.

The second-prize winner is Jerrica Lavooy, who will receive a $25 Warwick Merchant Guild gift certificate. She also received the third-prize award and a $10 Warwick Merchant Guild gift certificate.

In the student category, first prize was awarded to Allesandra Nunez, who will receive a $20 Warwick Merchant Guild gift certificate.

The second-prize student winner is Erin Jung, who will receive a $15 Warwick Merchant Guild gift certificate.

Third prize-student winner is Christine Nunez, who will receive a $10 Warwick Merchant Guild gift certificate.

Before Applefest, all T-shirt design contest submissions will be displayed in the window of Akin's Pharmacy on Main Street.

After the festival, all entries will be available for pickup at the Chamber of Commerce Caboose on South Street until Nov. 8.
