Tickets, sponsors
Costs to register are individual golfers, $225 and foursomes, $800.
Non-golfers who only wish to attend the cocktail hour and an awards dinner pay $75.
Presenting Sponsor for this year's annual golf outing is Hudson Regional LTC Pharmacy.
Proceeds from the golf outing will help support programs at Winslow Therapeutic Center, a CLC Foundation Agency and not-for-profit organization that has been offering unique and often life-changing horseback riding experiences to children and adults in this community since 1974.
Using horses in therapy and education
"The center," said Executive Director Susan Ferro, "strives to improve the bodies, minds and spirits of children and adults with special needs through the use of the horse in therapy and education."
Studies show that therapeutic riding improves physical health, enhances coordination and strengthens core muscles.
Winslow's programs are designed to meet the needs of individuals with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and communication disorders as well as social, emotional and stress related issues.
With more than 20 therapy horses, Winslow serves over more than riders with special needs each year.
