— A group of Warwick residents learned recently that the African Library Project, which has distributed more than two million books to libraries in English-speaking Africa, needs books for a new school library in Ghanzi, Botswana.

The group’s reaction: Let’s do it. They began by naming themselves Books From Kids to Kids.

The goal: To collect 1,000 new or gently used books for students in grades pre-K to 4 at the Kuke Primary School in Ghanzi.

And this is where the community comes in.
