Winding through Warwick holiday house tour raises more than $47,000

— More than 550 people attended the Winding Through Warwick holiday house tour on Saturday, Dec. 1, to support St. Anthony Community Hospital, Schervier Pavilion and Mount Alverno Center, all members of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).
More than $47,000 was raised to support advances in care for patients and residents of these facilities.
The hostsSeven distinguished homes were on the 2018 tour, uniquely decorated for the holidays in styles that complemented their architectural and ornamental features.
Homeowners included Pat and Frank Fornario, Greg Galluccio and Dixie Comeau, Charlie and Ingrid Lucas, Kathleen and Neil Riordan, Ed Sobiech and Loren Welsh.
Christ Church, an Episcopal parish on South Street, also opened its doors for the tour.
The committeeWinding through Warwick was hosted by the Bon Secours Warwick Healthcare Foundation. Co-chairs Caroline Hamling and Barbara Sullivan, members of the Foundation Board of Directors, worked with a committee of community members to plan and hold the event.
Committee members were Katie Bisaro, Ilene Chan, Michelle Carter, Mary Juliano, Toni Kreusch, Tracey Kunar, Barbara Pierson, Terry Quint and Kathy Salvato.
“Winding through Warwick was such an amazing success for our entire community,” said Sullivan. “Thank you to our homeowners, sponsors, advertisers and, of course, the more than 550 guests who joined us to support advances in healthcare in our community!”
Hamling added: “Warwick is a special community, and events like this remind us how fortunate we are to live, work and raise our families here.”
Future eventsCommunity members can support St. Anthony Community Hospital, Schervier Pavilion and Mount Alverno Center through fund raisers throughout 2019, including Girls’ Night Out, in May and the Golf Classic in September.
