WARWICK — All girls grades K-12 are invited to the Warwick Girl Scouts' registration event, to have fun and learn about Girl Scouts, on Sunday, Sept. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The event will take place at Warwick Town Park on Union Corners Road, rain or shine under the pavilion.

Activities scheduled for this event include crafts, a game, learning about the Girl Scout law, decorating cupcakes and enjoying a snack. Girls will be able to make a bracelet and a pinwheel.

They will find out what Girl Scouts do, from the activities and adventures, to earning badges and helping out in our community.

There is also a need for adult volunteers. Adults are welcome at the event to learn about becoming a leader or co-leader and other ways they can help out a troop.

For more information about this event contact garlochfamily@optonline.net.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girls Scouts help others, learn to be leaders, volunteer, do good in their community and the world, while having fun and adventures along the way.
