— Safe Homes of Orange County is holding a bowl-a-thon fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Colonial Lanes, 78 Brookside Avenue, Chester.

Bowling time slots are at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

"Let's strike out intimate partner violence and human trafficking!" Safe Homes says.

The fundraiser is sponsored by the Monroe-Woodbury Rotary Club and is hosted by Colonial Lanes in Chester.

Gather your best bowling friends for five-person teams. Advance registration is required. Registration includes lane, ball and shoe rentals, pizza, soda, a tee shirt and door prizes.

Safe Homes of Orange County is committed to working toward the elimination of intimate partner violence, teen dating violence, and human trafficking by providing comprehensive support services to victims and their children, and by increasing public awareness about these issues and encouraging accountability for perpetrators.

The Monroe-Woodbury Rotary Club is part of Rotary District 7210, which includes most of the Hudson Valley. The club was chartered in 1970 and provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the community.
