— The Warwick Historical Society's annual party will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Lewis Park.
This will be an evening of celebration focusing on Warwick's vibrant agri-tourism industry. From scenic orchards and pumpkin patches, to wineries and cideries and farm-to-fork restaurants, Warwick has something to offer everyone.
This year's honorary chairs are the Wright Family of Wright Family Farms, the Pennings Family and the Grizzanti's and Jeremy Kidde of Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery.
The party will feature a signature cocktail designed by Black Dirt Distillery, craft beer from Pine Island Brewery, craft cider from Pennings Cidery, dinner by Grappa Ristorante and homemade desserts. Music will be provided by Soulia and the Sultans.
The event is the historical society's largest fund raiser. For over 100 years the society has been the caretaker of many precious properties, including Lewis Park and the Old School Baptist Meeting House. This is all done without any tax dollars. Funds raised by this event will support WHS mission to preserve and celebrate the history of Warwick and its people.
Art auctionThe cows were designed by students at nine of the local schools; Greenwood Lake Elementary and Middle Schools, Park Avenue Elementary, Sanfordville Elementary, Warwick Middle and High Schools, Golden Hill Elementary and the SS Seward Institute.
