WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Varsity Ski Racing Team dominated the slopes this year.

Both the Women’s and Men’s Teams went undefeated this season and have an ongoing winning streak as number one in their division going back as far as 2007 or more.

• The men’s team, including Vaughnn Poehlmann (senior), Matthew Hansen (junior), Christopher Hansen (freshman) and Dan Keneally (freshman), has swept the podium for the majority of races.

• The women's team, including Natalie Paraschiv (junior), Tristen Bieling (junior), Georgia Krasneiwicz (junior), Simone Sullivan (freshman), Julie Priebke (freshman) and Claire Priebke (seventh grader), has been dominating the top of the finishers list each race.

• Matthew Hansen and Simone Sullivan won the Division and clinched a spot to compete in the State Championships at Bristol Mountain later this month.

Qualifying team members will compete at Section IX Championships at Hunter Mountain this week and hope to send additional athletes to state championships.
