UTICA — Junior Kristen Maslanka of Pine Island has become the all-time career kills leader for the SUNY Delhi's women's volleyball team.

It happened Saturday at the Utica College Invitational. The SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team split a pair of matches.

The Broncos opened the competition sweeping Bryn Mawr by 25-13, 25-18 and 25-19 scores, and then fell in close straight sets to Utica by 25-15, 25-23 and 25-22 ledgers.

The day was highlighted by Maslanka passing Kelsey Pratt to become SUNY Delhi's all-time career kills, or points, leader with 522.

Maslanka broke the record with her fourth kill of the Bryn Mawr match, with the previous record being 509.

"Maz" was Delhi's team leader in kills for both matches, with nine against the Owls and finishing tied with Sarah Clapper and Haylee Lefebvre for seven against the Pioneers.

Maslanka also had three service aces and nine digs during the tournament.

The team's record is currently 6-14.
