    WARWICK — The following is the Warwick Fire Department's Call Report for the week ending March 9, provided by 2nd Assistant Chief Mike Contaxis:
    The WFD has responded to 79 calls for service to date as of Sunday, March 9, evening.
    WFD fire prevention report
    • Remember to change your batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, including hard wired or battery back-up systems.
    If your detectors do not have a manufacture date or are 10 years or older, replace them. Your family’s lives and yours depends on these detectors.

    Corned beef dinner
    Members of the Excelsior Hose Company #1 are hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Corner Beef Dinner with all the fixings this coming Sunday, March 17.
    Doors open at 3 p.m. with continuous seating till 7 p.m. Call 986-4688 to make a reservation or for delivery to your family and friends.
    Adults: $15; seniors: $11; children (ages 5 to 12): $9; children under five free.
    The Excelsior Hose Company #1 is located at 25 Church Street Extension off of Forester Avenue.
