Yesterday's restaurant: 'A fine establishment'

As longtime patrons of Yesterday's restaurant, we are deeply offended by all of the inaccurate statements being made in regards to their potential move to Elm Street. Yesterday's is not what has been depicted by the negative press it has been receiving.

Yesterday's is a family restaurant which serves a wide variety of delicious meals and, of course, alcohol. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is the type where parents can bring their young children or even older children can take their parents.

It is not uncommon to see multiple generations sharing a fine meal at Yesterday's.

The owners have high standards for themselves, their staff as well as their customers. Rowdy, inappropriate behavior is not tolerated inside or outside.

The success of Yesterday's speaks for itself, which is why the need to expand exists. It is expanding because it needs the additional space to continue on its past success and to serve its loyal customer base. It is not expanding to become a “beer garden.”

The residents where Yesterday's will be moving to should consider themselves lucky that such a fine establishment with tremendous caring owners will be located on Elm Street.
