— The Warwick Community Garden will launch its eighth season with its annual pre-season planning and orientation get-together at the Warwick Valley Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m.

The meeting is open to current members, new members and folks who just want to check it out.

"At these meetings, new people get a chance to meet and mingle with the garden regulars, we decide what we’ll be planting and in general start to get excited about the arrival of spring," Geoffrey Howard, one of the organizer, said. "If the weather permits, there will also be a quick tour of the garden, located on the Community Center grounds. "
