  • On Wednesday, July 30, 2014, Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus, Orange County Human Rights Commission Chairperson Fred Cook and Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler presented Orange County Human Rights Commission Scholarships to Warwick Valley High School graduates Victoria Garloch and Gianna Rotondo.



GOSHEN — Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus, Human Rights Commission Chairperson Fred Cook and District Attorney David M. Hoovler presented Orange County Human Rights Commission Scholarships to Warwick High School graduates Victoria Garloch and Gianna Rotondo at ceremonies held July 30.

The scholarships are awarded to "those who are pursuing a post-secondary education and display mutual respect and understanding among all racial, religious, ethnic and nationality groups."

The $500 scholarships are funded through proceeds from the annual Orange County Human Rights Commission Awards Dinner.

Victoria Garloch
Victoria will be attending The College of Saint Rose in Albany where she is a student in Project Aspire, a five-year masters program for high school science and special education teachers.

Victoria will graduate with a degree in biology and a masters in special education.

Gianna Rotondo
Gianna will be attending Ohio State where she is a student in the Scholars Program focusing on international affairs. She will graduate with a degree in actuarial science.
