The following students have been cited for academic achievement for the spring 2014 semester by achieving the dean’s List at the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi.
Sierra Cossano of Warwick, AAS in Nursing
Stephen Esch of Warwick, BBA in Culinary Arts Management
To qualify, students must have an academic average of 3.50 or higher and take six credit hours or more within the semester.
The following students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester at Binghamton University:

Russell T. Broere of Warwick, School of Management
The following students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, N.J.:
Justine Thomas of Warwick, a History major
Caitlin Loyka of Warwick, a Psychology major
To achieve this honor, a student must carry 12 or more credits that semester and have a 3.5 grade point average or above.
Programs, honors, awards
Connor Crone of Warwick was a member of the Mansfield University Concert Choir that won three Gold Medals at the 2014 World Choir Games in held Riga, Latvia July 9-19. The Mansfield ensemble, directed by Peggy Dettwiler, medaled in all three categories they sang in.
MU finished second in the Spiritual category, behind the Stellenbosh University Choir of South Africa, the number one ranked choir in the world.
In the Mixed Youth Choir category, the Mansfield Choir finished in third place.
Mansfield took 15th place in the Sacred Accompanied category, scoring 81.13 points. Any score of 80 or above earns a gold medal.
The World Choir Games, known as “the Olympics for Choirs,” is the largest international choral competition, attracting thousands of singers in over 500 choirs from around the world.
The 54- student MU Choir, accompanied by eight faculty and volunteers, also visited and performed in Berlin, Germany, Warsaw, Poland and Vilnius, Lithuania before traveling to in Riga, Latvia, for the competition.
Mansfield University is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
Kiri Ramos, a senior at the State University of New York at Fredonia, has been awarded a $650 Woods and Earl Membership Scholarship. She has a double major in childhood inclusive education and Spanish.
A 2012 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Kiri is the daughter of Wilbert and Anne Marie Ramos of Warwick.
