Little Mermaid, Jr.' takes the stage this weekend

WARWICK —Sanfordville Elementary School’s drama club, the Sanfordville Shining Stars, under the direction of Della Powderly, will present “The Little Mermaid, Jr.” at the Warwick Valley High School Theatre on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22.

This popular musical for all ages is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and Disney film, and will be performed by nearly 100 third, fourth, and fifth grade students.

The show will open Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m., with an additional performance on Saturday, March 22, at 1 p.m.

Tickets will be available for $6 each at the door on Friday from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m., and Saturday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.

“The Little Mermaid, Jr.” is a full-scale musical featuring a loved and widely recognized score that will be performed by Sanfordville’s costumed heroes, heroines and villains (sea creatures, sailors, chefs, royalty and more).
