WARWICK — Warwick will once again celebrate its restaurants, chefs, farms, wineries and sense of community at the 19th annual Taste of Warwick on Tuesday, Sept. 18.
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery located on Little York Road off Route 1A between Warwick and Pine Island.
Presented by the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, Taste of Warwick highlights local cuisine as well as eco-friendly dining and a sense of community. In a candle-it tent under the stars, guests can sample local wines and food while listening to live music by the E’Lissa Jones trio.
As regional chefs discover the benefits of promoting their specialties featuring local produce, the list of participating restaurants expands each year. The 2012 participants will be announced soon.
Ticket, at $60 per person, must be purchased in advance.
